Hello all! My name is Krysta and I'm on the look out for a new family! I've been in childcare for almost 9 years and a private nanny for almost 7 years. I do have a 2.5 year old boy (06/03/2021) who has come along with me since he was 8 weeks old. Before I was a nanny I was a lead at a popular Portland based in-home daycare where I oversaw the care of 16 infants and 3 other workers. Our ratio was 4:1. I have experience with multiples and my last nanny share job was with 4 kiddos- a set of twins, a singleton and my own son, Theo. I love creating long term bonds with children along with their families as I see myself as an extension of them. Some of my skills are as follows: • CPR and first aid trained and in the ORO database, clean driving record with a safe and reliable car. • Supporting children in play activities, meals and snacks, hygiene and socialization. • Assisting with light housekeeping duties as well as running errands. Organization and cleaning up the home after activities by picking up toys and straightening up play rooms. • Building positive and nurturing environments to support child's social and emotional growth. • Preparing tasty and healthy meals for children to encourage good eating habits. • Engaging with children on an age-appropriate level. Balancing playtime to help support development of fine motor, and cognitive skills Getting outside, puddle jumping, singing silly songs, dancing crazy dances, block building, imagination play, arts and crafts are some of my favorite things

Hi I’m Andrea! I am a responsible and caring babysitter with hands-on experience working with children through a school child development program. I have two years of experience supporting children’s growth, safety, and daily routines, including working with children with special needs. I have also volunteered as a camp leader, supervising a group of five children, organizing engaging activities, and managing daily schedules from morning wake-ups to bedtime. Hello! My name is Ericka! I am looking for weekend gigs cuz this economy? Whew chile! Mon- Fri, I work at a child care center. My cohort are just starting to turn two! I’ve been with this cohort for about 18 months. My youngest started at 7 weeks!!! I started child care back when I was 16 and worked for about 10 years before switching careers. I worked as a bus driver for quite awhile! A couple years back, I left Trimet to come back to my true love (despite the wage). I’m REALLY familiar with 3 and under, but love older kiddos too! I’ve worked with 10 yrs and under in a professional child care setting and done some babysitting for 11 and 12s. Pet wise, I’m not terribly familiar or comfortable with snakes, but as long as I don’t have to hold or feed one, them just existing isn’t a problem. I have a small dog named Georgie. I love going for walks, swimming, parks, child friendly spaces, movies, music, books, etc. As a current child care worker, I have my cpr and first aid cert., food handlers card.
