My name is Kate, and I am a 34-year-old elementary school teacher living in South Philly. I have my bachelor's and master's degrees in education, and I have been teaching for 12 years. I have worked with numerous grade levels (K, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7th) in Pennsylvania and South Florida. I currently teach 2nd grade in South Philly. Beyond that, I was previously a babysitter for years while in college, a swim instructor and life guard, and I still hold my CPR/AED certification. I also have up-to-date PA Child Abuse clearances and FBI clearances due to working for the School District. My schedule has me home by 3:00 p.m. every day, and I would love to fill some time helping out some families in the area with any pet, house, or babysitting needs! I am certified in BLS and have received training in adult, child, and infant emergency care. I work with students aged 3-4, but I have been involved in childcare for various ages since I was 12. I love and am great with all animals, although I am best when it comes to dogs. I am currently on summer break and available to assist with any needs you may have. While I am comfortable with a wide range of services, I excel particularly with younger kids. As a teacher, one of my main responsibilities is to create projects that help children develop their skills and learn to express themselves. I worked for a daycare in Wilmington Delaware.
