Hello! I am a new-graduate physician assistant looking for a fun position as a nanny before I start working full time as a PA. I have been babysitting and working with children in different settings, both paid and unpaid, since I was in middle school. Most recently, I nannied for several families on a part-time basis from 2[removed]. I absolutely love working with children and getting to encourage the development of their growing minds! I think my personal emphasis on kindness and hard work are excellent traits for children to look up to and eventually implement into their own lives. This will make them adults who greatly impact society in the future, and I think that is one of the most rewarding aspects of childcare! With my education and prior experience as an EMT, I am extremely comfortable with caring for people with medical conditions and am extensively trained in basic and advanced life support for both children and adults. Therefore, I would be a reliable individual in any emergency situation. Also, I have had some brief experiences with pet sitting and have grown up taking care of dogs of my own. Currently, I have a 1 year old lab-pit bull mix who loves walks and snuggles!

I have 5 years of dog and cat sitting experience. I love going on walks, playing fetch, and giving lots of pets to the animals. I have taken care of many different dog and cat breeds, and I am able to do overnight sitting. I can do medicines, eye drops, or any other medical needs. I can also do house sitting, including watering plants and light housework.

During my senior year of high school in Georgia, I began long-term babysitting, thus beginning my career as an educator. During the first year of our worldwide COVID pandemic, I completed my Master of Education in Instructional Practice at Lipscomb University in Nashville. Currently, I am not averse to obtaining another advanced degree as well, will likely be medically-affiliated! In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with my pup, domestic & international travel, tutoring children, spending time with community, playing ultimate frisbee, running, singing/playing piano, reading, and engaging in thousand-piece puzzles, NYT word games and general brain teasers. I have been a household manager for a family for the past 12 years. I worked for the family’s company, but only working from their home taking care of everything from cleaning, taking daily care of the family parrot and dog to running all kinds of errands for their home here and also their lake home in Lynchburg. They recently sold the company which eliminated my full time job. I still work for them but only on as needed basis. I am a 56 year old mother to a 31 year old son who he and his wife gave us the sweetest granddaughter over a year ago. I am also a “Lolly” to my nephew’s new baby, which makes me an adoptive grandparent since his parents are no longer with us. I have a niece who was adopted from Guatemala years ago and she was raised as my second child. Our family is very close and everyone pitches in wherever is needed. I have been married for 35 years and have lived in Franklin since 1983. I adore children and animals, with the exception of snakes. As long as I don’t have to touch or feed them, I can handle it! I decided I was going to retire at my young age, but can only clean my house and meet friends for lunch for so long without it becoming repetitive!
