I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old. I’ve worked with all ages from infants and up. I was a preschool teacher for awhile and I also have experience working with special education. Ive nannied for a 4 year old boy, a family with 4 kids (ages 10, 8, 5, 6 months) and occasionally for a family with 11, 9 and 3 year olds. I have my own car so I don’t mind transporting or running errands as needed. I’m CPR/BLS certified, almost medical assistant certified, a non smoker, I like to cook, and don’t mind light janitorial and household duties. I Can speak intermediate Spanish. I know enough to be able to teach someone else how to speak it and I would love to learn more together as well. I am based in Texas but I travel to California every so often to visit family.

I’m Skylar, and I am a senior nursing student at TCU. I am offering child care, dog sitting, and senior services. I love being a babysitter and have experience babysitting with ages 3-6 since I was 15. During the summer, I work as a camp counselor for ages 8-12 and I love caring for kids! I have planned activities, cooked, ran errands, driven to and from school, and made crafts! I have three dogs at home, so I have experience with dog sitting for the past 10 years. I love all animals and would love to care for any! I am a nursing student, so I have two years of experience of senior care. I love caring for seniors and am very comfortable with senior care.

I’ve been passionate about health and wellness for as long as I can remember and began midwifery school this January as my interest grew into Holistic Maternal Health and Midwifery care over the last couple of years. The first couple of months solidified my path, though I find myself needing to pause my education to save money for finishing school. I believe firmly in working toward a society which dignifies the lives, needs, and natural processes of both mother and child during life’s early stages. Long term career-wise I see myself working with women and babies in need of affordable, loving care, and until that time I see myself working with and being inspired by the babies who’ve grown older and have begun to reflect the love and care given to them in their tiny years. I have substitute taught for Denton ISD for almost 2 years and high school summer camp counseled at UNT as well; both of which I’ve loved. I hope to share more with you upon interviewing!
