Hello, families! My name is Linda and I’ve been working off and on as a babysitter since I was 15 (and I still keep in contact with the now adult first baby and his older sister I sat for!). I love children of all ages and have been working as a second grade teacher for over 5 years now. I have experience watching multiple children and have state certifications as well as a Master’s degree to work with early childhood and elementary aged children. I have worked with special education children and high needs learners every year. As a public school teacher, I am state background checked and fingerprinted. I am additionally CPR & First Aid certified. I also have experience tutoring children and can provide homework help and learning supports if desired. I love kids! I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old. I started with some neighborhood families and moved to being a nanny for another family. I love to teach children and keep them engaged without screens such as going outside to play or reading a book. As a nanny in the past, I would clean, cook, take the kids to dance class, and run errands for the family. I also have a background with childcare during ministry. I taught Sunday school class every Sunday for 3 years. I am a charismatic and outgoing person who loves to entertain and make anyone laugh. I treat everyone with respect no matter the age. Children should be allowed to think and dream in my opinion, and I encourage that!
