Hello! I’m Kayla! I just recently graduated high school at Taft high school where I took child development for 4 years which includes an internship with children for 2! I am starting college and would love to nanny in my available time, unfortunately I am occupied mon-thur from 8-12 but I can work with any other time! I have babysat young ages from 4 months-12 years old for about 6 years. Pets are no problem as I have many myself (4 dogs and 2 cats) and I can help with meal prep and cleaning as needed! Im very outgoing and friendly and would love to help keep a safe environment for children, thank you for your interest!

I love kids! I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old. I started with some neighborhood families and moved to being a nanny for another family. I love to teach children and keep them engaged without screens such as going outside to play or reading a book. As a nanny in the past, I would clean, cook, take the kids to dance class, and run errands for the family. I also have a background with childcare during ministry. I taught Sunday school class every Sunday for 3 years. I am a charismatic and outgoing person who loves to entertain and make anyone laugh. I treat everyone with respect no matter the age. Children should be allowed to think and dream in my opinion, and I encourage that!

Supporting elderly individuals—especially those facing isolation, dementia, or limited mobility—gave me the chance to offer dignity, companionship, and meaningful daily interactions. I’ve learned that caregiving at both ends of life’s spectrum requires many of the same values: empathy, patience, respect, and a willingness to truly listen. With years of hands-on experience across generations, I’ve come to appreciate the deep rewards of caregiving. Each person—whether a baby, a child with autism, or a senior—deserves to feel seen, safe, and valued. And for me, being able to provide that care is more than a job; it’s a calling.
