Hello - My name is Alec, I am a graduate from Texas State University with a degree in Exercise sports science with a concentration in Pre - Rehabilitation. Following graduation in 2018, I decided to put off further schooling and have spent the last several years continuing at where I had started to excel before college, in providing value as a swim coach. I have coached for several different swim teams and am a fairly experienced athlete myself, but what I pride myself in is my patience working with all ages and ability levels of whatever I may be teaching, watching over, or even learning(from those who love to share their minds and ideas). I have continued in this path for so long because helping and guiding others where I can appropriately provide guidance or support is genuinely fulfilling to me, and I am more inclined by nature to do so. I have recently stopped coaching and have plans to grow my own private swim lessons during the warm seasons, and during the cold season I am seeking other work opportunities where I can best put my talents, skills, and experiences to good work for others whether coaching, teaching, tutoring, or caregiving.

I'm a master's student in counseling and psychotherapy, specializing in child and adolescent behavioral therapy. I worked in a kindergarten for three years and loved every moment of it. I have a deep love for children and enjoy engaging with them through creative play. I'm usually their favorite because I’m always up for fun and tapping into their world to make meaningful connections that support their growth and well-being. I've been a caretaker for my grandparents and I'm comfortable with caring for elderly, cooking, cleaning, driving to appointments, etc. I love dogs and I would be fine with families with dogs.

Hi there! My name is Sofia and I’ve lived in Austin for about 6 years. I just completed my PhD in School/Child Clinical Psychology and am hoping to continue working with children/adolescents in a clinical setting in the near future. I have various professional and personal experiences with children and teens. I’ve learned so much about behavior management through my clinical work and I’m dedicated to serving families in my community. I’ll start my psychology fellowship in the fall and am available in the summer to help families in the area. In my free time, I enjoy crocheting, reading, spending time with my two pups, and exploring local coffee shops.
