Hi! My name is Jayda and I'm originally from San Antonio, but I'm currently attending the University of North Texas! I have plenty of experience with both children and pets! I have a younger sister and baby cousin that I often babysit and love to provide care for. Additionally, I also worked as a camp leader in multiple church ministry's working with kids from K-8th grade. Back home in San Antonio I had two dogs and a cat I took care of, and currently own one cat here in Denton. I also have experience working in a veterinary clinic as a kennel technician. Another fact about me is that I am CPR and First Aid certified and I am trained in how to handle emergency situations, so not only will I provide the best care and support but I can also ensure that your children and/or pets will be safe! I’ve been passionate about health and wellness for as long as I can remember and began midwifery school this January as my interest grew into Holistic Maternal Health and Midwifery care over the last couple of years. The first couple of months solidified my path, though I find myself needing to pause my education to save money for finishing school. I believe firmly in working toward a society which dignifies the lives, needs, and natural processes of both mother and child during life’s early stages.
