Hello I’m Amber, a mom of 2, and I have a lot of experience working with kids 6wks-teens as a former director/owner/ educator of a licensed daycare home for over 7 years. I chose a different career path after covid but I really love kids in my core. Over the past 27yrs, I have also worked at recreation centers, 24-hr daycares, non-profits for daycare accreditation, Head Start & ECI (Early Childhood Intervention) I understand different parenting styles, living arrangements, so there's no judgement, just quality care, and the need to go with the flow of life. I'm a basketball mom as well so I figured I give this a shot too lol. I have some free time to play outside of my current part-time position and would love to help you parents out.

I haven't been babysitting for long. I enjoy kids, I have fun playing games with them. I'm a kind person with a bubbly personality. I enjoy, singing, dancing, music, and theatre. Helping with childcare at my church was also a lot of fun.

I have worked with children for 20 years as an educator in and out of the classroom. I have worked with families providing childcare for 10 years. I am patient, kind and nurturing. I’m interested in what the kids are interested in doing. This ranges from legos to drawing and anywhere in between. I have worked with children aged from infant to 12 years old. I’m CPR and first aid certified. I take pride in giving parents time off knowing their little ones are well cared for.

I enjoy planning simple activities, helping with snacks, maintaining routines, and creating a calm environment. Families can rely on me to be responsible and communicative.

At 18 years old, I bring a genuine passion for helping others that truly drives me every day. Seeing people happy makes me happy, and I take great pride in creating a positive and supportive environment for those I care for. I am skilled at cooking nutritious, delicious meals, ensuring their well-being is always a priority. My experience is extensive—I have been working with children since I was very young, having raised four kids and babysat overnight and for extended periods. I treat every child with the same compassion, trust, and respect I would give my own family. My outgoing personality allows me to connect easily, while my patience and gentleness create a safe, nurturing space. At the same time, I am firm and confident enough to maintain boundaries and ensure everyone’s best interests are protected. This balance makes me a reliable and caring caregiver.
