I loved babysitting growing up and have always enjoyed spending time with children. Over the past year, I worked at a school for children with autism spectrum disorder, where I developed strong attentiveness, patience, and the ability to respond thoughtfully to each child's individual needs.

Hi! My name is Sadie! I will be 23 years old in September and just returned home to Utah from Washington State, where I was attending college for soccer and my degree in psychology. I decided to return home early as i felt it was the right decision in order to better myself as a person, daughter, sister, and as future wife and mother. I am the oldest daughter to a family of 7, and the oldest granddaughter of a large extended family of about 50 people. Family is most important to me, so I’m very blessed to have my extended family live close enough together so we can spend multiple days together each week! I've played sports and the piano my whole life, and have always loved spending as much time as I can outside. I have my own animals, so pets aren't a problem for me at all! I feel that I have a very optimistic personality and feel it's very easy for me to adjust to different lifestyles (as long as I feel comfortable being able to live up to my standards and values for myself). Ive been babysitting since I was about 9, and have nannied since I was 14. I've had lots of experience with newborns, special needs, twins, and all other ages between newborn and 15 years, and families with up to 7 kids. I have lots of experience with overnight sitting as well! I also have my own transportation. A few years ago I took a babysitting course at the U of U to teach me the correct safety procedures in case of emergencies. While living in Washington I worked at an early childhood education center. Depending on the day I was responsible for taking care of newborns (including playing, naps, feeding, teaching motor skills, cognitive skills, etc.), or was an assistant teacher for children ages 3-6. Being around so many children at once, all coming from different backgrounds (ultimately impacting their behaviors and personalities) has been such an amazing opportunity and blessing to see how much of an impact the simple things such as, communicating gently, being intentional to understand, and actively playing with children improves their day and self-beliefs, regardless of their individual struggles, home environments, or type of personalities. I understand that having a new person take care of your kids can be stressful, which is why I think communication is very important going both ways. I have been taking care of children for 20 years, including raising my own child who is now 11. When I take care of children, I work on many things. I work on learning things such as colors, letters, shapes, numbers and more with young children. I even work with older children on learning to read. On top of this, I always have lots of games and play time. I have taken care of children of every age and cared for up to 9 children at once, including a newborn. The children are always my first priority and I love children. I am responsible and reliable. I have taken care of children (and adults) with special needs. Hi, I’m Abbie! I am from Arizona, but currently living in Utah, and have been for 5 years now. I absolutely love it here! I’m getting married in May! I am going back to school fall of 2025 at UVU, majoring in Early Education, to ultimately become a teacher. I love kids, animals, arts and crafts, movies, music, wellness, fashion, shopping, learning, and my family! I am outgoing, kind, reliable, and fun. You can count on me! Right now I am only available Saturdays and Sundays. I have 4+ years experience in babysitting/nannying. Ages ranging from newborn-15 years old, I am also the oldest sibling of 4, so I had a lot of responsibility throughout my years at home. I also have babysat cousins and friends since I was young. Preferably minimum to no screen time; mostly hands-on activities for the children. I also stayed over-night and some weekends as needed for the 2 families I nannied, when the parents were gone for work trips, vacation, etc. My way of childcare is to encourage children to learn and grow with confidence building activities, arts & crafts, outdoor activities, parks, libraries, and more. Any discipline needed/done was discussed with the parents, but I have a gentle approach to discipline. For example, if the child is having a tantrum or getting upset with another sibling or situation, I will sit with the child to be at their level instead of above, listen and try to understand how they are feeling, and help get through the moment with love and patience; never any yelling or aggression. Sometimes all a child needs is to be heard. Any disrespect or aggression from the child is met with authoritative discipline and love. I built and maintained a positive relationships with the children and parents through excellent communication, respect and love as human beings, not just because it’s my job!

Hi, my name is Tabitha ! I am a student at Utah State University studying biology. I am offering childcare, pet care, and house care! I love spending time with kids! I have been babysitting for 5 years now, I have a lot of experience with infants- 9 year olds. During those 5 years I have done tons of crafts, dance parties, fun days at the park, field trips, and helped with homework. I can cook and bake mostly anything and I am very good working with food allergies and restrictions. I am also comfortable with bottles and formula. I have also watched countless pets including cats, dogs, fish, guinea pigs, birds, and reptiles. I can do short-term house sitting during the summer and also weekends year round.
