I have a ton of little cousins so I was the babysitter in my family growing up and have always been around kids of all ages, which is what got me into childcare in the beginning. Patients is key, in my opinion, and anything can be taught with both patients and determination. I grew up playing many different sports and think exercise is important but I my passion is reading and I love doing read alouds with the kids. It can surprise people how much some of the older kids appreciate being read to.
