Hi! My name is Khia, and I’m an 18-year-old college student majoring in elementary education. While I’m home from school until January 16th, I’m offering occasional babysitting for families who need help with date nights, after-school care, or last-minute and emergency situations. I have experience caring for children from infancy through pre-teens and focus on creating a safe, positive, and supportive environment. I enjoy keeping kids engaged through reading, arts and crafts, games, and outdoor play, and I’m happy to help with homework, meals, and daily routines. My education background helps me stay patient, organized, and attentive to each child’s needs. I also have experience caring for pets, including feeding, walking, playing, and general supervision. I’m comfortable with large dogs and pets that shed, and I’ve volunteered with an animal rescue, which helped me gain confidence working with different animals and temperaments. I take pride in being dependable, calm, and communicative, and I aim to make both children and parents feel comfortable and at ease.
