Hi! My name is Maddie, and I offer child care, pet care, senior care, and household support. I’m currently looking for occasional, one-off, or part-time work to supplement my income and support families who need a reliable extra set of hands. I grew up booked and busy as a babysitter and nanny, and caring for others has always come naturally to me. My experience includes driving to/from activities, organizing arts & crafts/fun learning experiences, tutoring/homework help, cooking meals, and keeping children engaged, safe, and happy. For 6 years I worked as a swim coach, coaching children ages 5 - 18 and introducing infants and toddlers (ages 1 - 4) to the pool. These experiences helped me develop strong skills in supervision, patience, communication, and adapting to different ages and personalities. Professionally, I’ve spent the last 10 years as an Executive Assistant to CEOs, where I honed my organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. I’m proactive, calm under pressure, and intuitive about anticipating needs - skills that translate into caregiving and household support. I’m also an animal lover through and through. I grew up with dogs, lived with a cat after college, and have no allergies. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, administering basic care, and giving pets lots of attention. Lastly, I was a caretaker for my grandmother for a short time - assisting with basic senior care including cooking, transportation to appointments, and companionship (I’m a great cribbage partner!). I’m dependable, respectful, and genuinely enjoy helping and supporting others. I was raised in a household where everyone pitched in, so I’m very comfortable with cooking, cleaning, errands, and general household help. I’m currently completing my pre-med while working per diem at a peritoneal dialysis (PD) kidney center. I’m CPR/BLS certified and live in Seattle near Alki Beach. I’m responsible and have five years of experience in childcare, working with children ages 2-15, as well as caring for my seven siblings growing up. Hello, I’m Rebekah 😊 I have almost 10 years of experience working with children in various settings. When I was in high school I taught dance to 3-10 year olds and had a consistent babysitting job. My undergraduate degree is in Elementary Education. I have worked in several formal and informal educational settings (day camps/overnight camps/after school programs/childcare centers). A couple of years ago I moved to Seattle and am now working full time as an administrative assistant. I’m looking for an occasional - to part time babysitting position. Some of my favorite movements working with kids include making crafts, exploring nature, fun science experiments and playing card games. I am currently only certified for Adult CPR in addition to general first aid. I have received Infant child CPR certifications in the past. After graduating college I received my preliminary teaching license. However, at the time I went to work in outdoor education settings. Due to this, my teaching license expired around 3 years ago. I have experience working with kids in Montessori settings. Also, I have a lot of experience caring for dogs and cats. Percy and Hercules are my cats and I am the main sitter for my sister’s two dogs.
