I have operated my own loving and successful licensed childcare when my own children were young. I have worked both professional and labor jobs in my community. I support movement/exercise & can share about nutrition of foods in a positive, encouraging way. I am also quite capable with household odd jobs and I own my home, doing most updating work myself. I may be higher on the hourly rate chart, but I am more than worth it. I am open to negotiation as well & i give a slight discount to single moms & families in hardship situations. Most importantly, I am engaging with each child according to their personality and comfort. I consistently support parents’ expectations of their child(ren), and am ALWAYS honest, trustworthy and transparent. I am genuine & flexible. Hello everyone, I'm Alyssa and currently a student studying at UW. I mostly will be available T/Thursday mornings and M/W/F afternoons to evenings due to my school schedule. I do work another part time job at a hospital so my weekends have to be scheduled a month in advance, though sometimes I will have openings! I work best with shy and artistic kids as I used to be one myself. I am great at keeping an eye on kids, but not great with super high energy kids. I don't drive so I will typically show up 30 minutes in advance, and can't really transport the kids anywhere unless you're wanting me to Uber them. I'm great at winding down kids and getting them to bed, and would be willing to clean up your place afterwards if it's an overnight shift and you mention it. Will always make sure the messes the kids make get cleaned up! I have CPR and First Aid Training for adults. Thanks everyone! 😊
