Much of that time was helping children with homework and also planning well rounded curriculum. Additionally, I worked as a Home Visitor for Head Start where I gained experience working with children from Birth to 3 years old. Hello! My name is Ella and I am a recent college graduate interested in working with kids! I love babysitting toddlers and kids -- I have previously wrangled little ones moving through summer theatre and dance camps, and I have special skills in working with easily distracted kids and getting them back on track :) I am also available to catsit, dogsit, and housesit upon request!

I have worked in school districts for 10 years plus. Most of it was with special education, children. For the last five years, I’ve taken care of my very sick husband.. He goes to Dialysis three times a week of which I have already put into the hours I can work and he also has short-term memory loss. I have a great deal of patience and empathy for those that are younger and those that may have minor mental and emotional problems. I take very seriously what it is that I do. I do not consider these individuals as lesser people. I especially love children. I have 10 grandchildren, and I taught all of them how to swim. I was a major part in their lives and as a result of my support as has been told to me by my children, my grandchildren are stable and productive individuals in the society. But I mostly love and enjoy little one’s handicapped or not.

I am a 34 year old full time stay at home mom to a 15 month old little girl! She is quite active and loves to play with other kids. If you need sitting during M-F during the day then she will need to come with me! Open to sitting in your home or mine! During the evenings or on weekends, she will NOT be with me! I am currently a nanny twice weekly to a 2 year old little girl! Previously I have worked as a behavior specialist to special needs children for 4 years and worked as a substitute teacher. I have been babysitting for 20+ years and worked as a nanny for 3 months full time as well to two children aged 4 and an infant during that time. I am fully CPR certified. I am raising my daughter bilingual (English and Spanish) and happy to encourage this teaching as well if you like. I focus on hands on learning and playing. Singing, dancing, interactive toys like puzzles and blocks, writing skills, and more. Open to helping with whatever you need whether that is getting them ready for the day, running errands, light household chores, diaper changing and potty training, meal prepping, etc! I am also very comfortable with all types of pets and have a dog myself. I have a degree in neuroscience/human sciences.

I am currently a certified nursing assistant with 10+ years of experience with various types of patients including mental/behavioral health, acute care and senior care. I have 1 pre-teen child and I’m an aunt to 8 nieces/nephews that I have helped raised with family. I have experience dog sitting including training, walking, and feeding. I’m organized, punctual, reliable, and skilled at multitasking. I value integrity, safety and honesty in my day to day life. I like to enjoy nature and staying active as much as possible. I play sports with my family and occasionally will spend time watching educational shows or reading a book.
