I've been an Elementary School Teacher for the last 10 years: including 5 years as a kindergarten teacher, experience in 1st grade, 3rd grade and even middle school. I've also been an art teacher for K-4 and taught adventure sports summer camps for 10-15yo. I'm also a father of two terrific girls, a grown 21yo and a 3yo toddler. I’ve worked at my mom’s daycare for two years with kids ages 2-7 at the same time, and loved it! I love kids and had even taught my little brother how to read his first book by reading him his favorite story every night until he read along! I was a also a trained life guard with CPR training and was very active in my high school swim team (taught my little brother how to swim too!). I love reading kids their books they bring and watching their favorite shows and movies. Snack and play time are one of my favorite parts of the day, fueling them then getting all their energy out with exercise and fun games. I have experience working in an assisted living home as a dietary aide (and an occasional dog walker to my favorite resident)…preparing and serving food as well as having a food handlers permit. I have plenty experience with cats and dogs (I own two of both!) and am eager to learn your routine with your fur friends!
