After babysitting friends children and my own nieces and nephews for 20 years. I’ve recently started doing it for others. My friends and family will tell you that I really like kids and kids really like me. I'm good at crafting, helping with homework, and keeping kids busy away from the screens. In addition to the babies and toddlers I am presently nannying, I currently have three nieces who are 7, a niece who is 10, nephews that are 14 and 18 and nieces that are 20 and 21. So I am familiar with child development from birth to adulthood. What I love about little ones is how fast they learn and they change so much it’s like meeting a new kid every week! I’m not just an occasional babysitter. I have been with these kids anywhere from 10 to 30 hours a week depending on the week. If I’ve learned one thing it is that every child is different, every parent is different and clear communication is the key to success. I will work hard to meet your expectations, ask questions where necessary and use my judgment in emergencies. I’m a non-smoker, I have a reliable car and I am fully vaccinated for COVID and everything else. I am CPR certified and I have taken classes in SIDS/abusive head trauma and pediatric first aid.

Hi my name is Kaitlyn I'm 31 years old and I work as an LPN downtown. I started babysitting when I was in 7th grade and that was the only job I had throughout high school. I babysat 2 little boys every Wednesday and sometimes I would come over on the weekends if I was needed. I also spent a lot of time with my grandmother when I was growing up so I would help her a lot and then eventually when I went to college I got my CNA license and throughout college the only places I worked were assisted living places and also in the memory care area. I absolutely love kids! I’m a mom of 4 and a former teacher, principal, and superintendent. Patience and compassion are my strengths, while still maintaining control through calm. I savor time spent with kids of all ages, with babies being the sweetest. I also enjoy spending time with and taking care of toddlers all the way to teenagers. Yes, I said teenagers!
