I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education, and a Master’s in Instructional Design. I've been a first-grade teacher for the past 8 years, and I’m passionate about working with children and animals. I began babysitting as a teenager and continued through college. Today, I’m a trusted caregiver for the children of close friends, and I fully understand the importance of creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. Outside of teaching, I volunteer with local rescues and foster dogs, providing them with a loving temporary home. I'm professional, friendly, and reliable—and committed to caring for every child or animal as if they were my own.
“Michelle is excellent with children. She is compassionate, kind and enthusiastic. Her caring personality, positive attitude, and reliability make her a good choice for a babysitter.”
My goal as a babysitter is to provide a safe, caring, and playful environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged to be themselves. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and love the energy, curiosity, and joy they bring to everyday life. I have cared for and tutored children for much of my life. Growing up with triplet siblings gave me plenty of hands-on experience with toddlers, young children, and preteens, and taught me how to be patient, attentive, and adaptable when caring for multiple children at once. I am comfortable preparing meals, changing diapers, helping with potty training, assisting with homework, keeping children entertained, and maintaining their routines. I am also happy to help with light household tasks or errands when needed. I also have experience volunteering and working with children through YMCA Camp Shaver in Jemez Springs, New Mexico, where I participated in a two-year leadership and counselor-in-training program. I am currently completing clinical training in the Mayo Clinic echocardiography program and am looking for part-time childcare opportunities while I finish my program. I am responsible, dependable, and excited to get back into childcare and get to know some wonderful families! Thank you for considering me for your childcare needs! :)
I am a mother of a three year old. I am 25 years young but have a handful of years of experience taking care of children from 1-17. I’ve gained this experience taking care of/ babysitting my three year old, and 3 younger siblings. My siblings range from 11-21, and I have younger cousins I helped raise as well. I am able to relate with kids because my experience with my siblings have proven to be positive, and growing. I am caring, understanding, and know how to cook amazing food if need be! Caregiver for 2+ years. Most of all I am patient and know how to help sort emotions in a gentle manner/voice.
Hi my name is Victoria and I am an ASU graduate who is also currently an ASU employee. I graduated with honors and bachelors of science in Biology and Psychology with an emphasis in Neurobiology. After focusing on my studies for so long I am taking this time to enjoy life by traveling, spending time with friends and family, and exploring new hobbies. In addition to my current part-time job, I would like to earn some other money on the side through helping families watch their most precious loved ones. I have plenty of previous experience taking care of children! I used to be the neighborhood babysitter when I was in junior high and high school, taking care of my next door neighbor's two children (starting at ages 3 and 7), and my other neighbor's daughter (aged 6-10). In addition, I was a volunteer and staff member at the local rec center for 6 years. There, I was in charge of running sports and arts and crafts activities for children aged 5-12. They also had me work our cool kids club where I watched children aged 2-5 while their parents worked out or took a trip to the library. I also have an abundance of experience in watching peoples' pets. I have taken care of the furry friends of neighbors, friends, and family for as long as I can remember! I have grown up with family dogs and know the amount of responsibility it takes to make sure they are loved and living an enriched life. Currently, I take care of my roommate's dog on a regular basis, and she frequently has dogs over for overnight stays, where I assist as well. In college, I was a research assistant in the Canine Science Collaboratory, where we ran behavioral studies on dogs. Through that experience, I can effectively determine a dog's temperament and any special needs they may need to feel comfortable. Though most of my experience is with dogs, I also feel comfortable with cats and other pets and love them just as much! I am just an animal girl at heart. I am willing to take on any cleaning or household tasks that families may need help with as well. I just love staying busy!
