Hi! I’m Veronica, a dependable, patient, and organized caregiver with experience caring for children and managing a busy household. I’m a mom, so I understand how important it is for families to have someone reliable, attentive, and trustworthy. I’m comfortable helping with supervision, meals/snacks, homework or activities, light household tasks, errands, and keeping children on their normal routine. I’m calm, responsible, and good at communicating with both children and parents. I’m currently open to occasional babysitting, date nights, part-time care, and short-term opportunities. I’m especially interested in helping families who need dependable support without necessarily requiring a full-time nanny.
Hi! My name is McKenzi, and I’m a high school senior offering childcare and household services! I’ve babysat throughout high school and have experience caring for multiple children at once, including a baby, toddler, and elementary-aged child! For the past three summers, I’ve worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor teaching infants through 18-year-olds, and most recently coached kids on the Centennial Stingrays swim team. I’m CPR and First Aid certified, a certified assistant teacher through my COOP and child development programs at my high school, and have classroom experience as an assistant teacher. I’m organized, alert, and dependable, and I’m happy to help with pets and light housekeeping. I’m also bubbly, creative, and love making kids feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.
My passion is teaching and caring for children. That passion grew after my little brother was diagnosed with autism and I strove to learn everything I could about the developmental disorder. The experience led me to earn a bachelor's degree in elementary education from ASU. Throughout college I continued to develop my teaching and childcare skills in a K-2nd grade after school program, a 1st grade internship, and as a 7th/8th grade science student teacher. I went on to become a middle school science teacher for a couple of years which I loved, but I missed early childhood education. I became a lead teacher at Tutor Time in the infant room and worked with children as young as 6 weeks old. I love teaching and taking care of kids and I am now enjoying life as a private childcare provider.
“Great ”
Coming from an education background, I have worked with children/adolescents from the ages of 10 to 17 for over 8 years! I love working with children, encouraging confidence and curiosity is my fortè! I am a strong believer in reading to kids all the time, even during summer break!
“She made it super easy for me to go on vacation and be at peace. She constantly sends me photo updates ”
I have tutored (in math) and babysat children for almost 10 years. I babysat my own siblings and my neighbors' children as well. (I am CPR trained, have a car, and I love animals!)
“Kufre was punctual and friendly, my 2 girls had a fun time playing hide and seek with her and playing games with her. We will definitely be hiring her again.”
