I’ve been a Respite, Habilitation, Attendant Care Provider since I was 19 working with Neural-Divergent and Neural-Typical Clients of all ages from 3 years old to 45 years old. I am CPR/First Aid Certified and have my Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance card as well as prevention and support training and an Article 9 certification that are all current and up to date as of June of Last year 2025. I am currently in the process of getting my RBT Certification and furthering my education as a BCBA in ABA Therapy.

Hello:) My name is Sydney. I have a long career of working with children of all ages including those with special needs. I have a masters in speech therapy and have worked as a speech therapist and feeding therapist for 1.5 years. I love to incorporate language and developmental models when working with children of all abilities and levels of development. I love working with children and find it comes naturally to me. I also have experiences dog sitting and have a wonderful labradoodle that loves to make friends. I’ve been teaching in grades 1-6 for the past 17 years. I have daily experience working with 25+ children. I am dependable and hardworking. I currently have two pitbull dogs but grew up mucking stalls for our horses, taking care of various types of birds, reptiles and fish. My mom is a senior who is on oxygen so I am familiar with the frequent doctor visits and needs of seniors. I am a full time teacher so I am currently looking to work during the summer months and extended holidays.

I am a caring, reliable, and patient Head Start Teacher Assistant with over a year of hands-on experience working with young children (3-5) in a classroom setting. I am currently a college student pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education, which has strengthened my knowledge of child development, safety, and age-appropriate learning activities. I enjoy creating a nurturing, structured, and fun environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to grow. My passion is teaching and caring for children. That passion grew after my little brother was diagnosed with autism and I strove to learn everything I could about the developmental disorder. The experience led me to earn a bachelor's degree in elementary education from ASU. Throughout college I continued to develop my teaching and childcare skills in a K-2nd grade after school program, a 1st grade internship, and as a 7th/8th grade science student teacher. I went on to become a middle school science teacher for a couple of years which I loved, but I missed early childhood education. I became a lead teacher at Tutor Time in the infant room and worked with children as young as 6 weeks old. I love teaching and taking care of kids and I am now enjoying life as a private childcare provider.
