I have work as an Elementary teachers assistant for the last two years. I’m currently in the process of receiving my para educator certification. I love working with kids I find that I can communicate with them very easily using not only the tools i’ve learned from past jobs but with some of the tools I’ve learned through my younger siblings who have communication disabilities. Hi! My name is Kate and I’m 23 born and raised in San Francisco. Currently I’m taking a gap year before continuing to law school next fall and would really like to continue working with kids till than. As a caregiver I really enjoy getting to know who the child really is so that I can meet at their level to be as helpful as possible. I love to have fun and explore with the kids I work with, even if it means jumping in muddy puddles outside. I am incredibly organized, on top of schedules/assignments, and am more than happy to help with a bit of housework. I'm going back to school in the fall to start my Masters Program in Sexuality Studies. I am flexible, social, playful, a strong communicator, and I love working with kids, animals, and elderly folks.
