When working with kids, I prioritize play, learning, and connection, but I also am confident in setting boundaries and expectations when it comes to safety and your family's rules! I have training in social-emotional learning and trauma-informed practice and feel comfortable setting those boundaries in a way that still expresses care and connection. I have been playing jazz bass for 13 years, have spent a lot of time doing various kinds of art (and have led art weeks at camps), and have led cooking classes with kids. I have also played a lot different sports, including ultimate frisbee, soccer, water polo, lacrosse, and basketball, and would be happy to pass a ball with a sport-enthusiast. I am happy to do various tasks, including making dinner, helping with homework, getting outside, etc. I am able to drive and have a car, so I can also pick kids up/drop them off if need be.
