My name is Lilian but everyone calls me Lily. I’m from Mexico City. I was an au pair for two years and been working as a nanny for more than four years now. I have over 1000 hours of experience with kids from 4 months old to 13 years old. I’m responsible, open minded, outgoing and flexible. I love to do any kind of activities, outdoors and indoors! Being an au pair during the pandemic gave me a lot of personal and professional resources to make the children have a good time and learn. I have a BA in Developmental Psychology, an MA in Sociology and currently doing a PhD in Education. I’m bilingual, so I can help with Spanish/English homework or assignments or just to practice both languages. The most important thing for me will always be the security of your kids so I'll make sure that they are safe in every place we are. That being said, I’m fully vaccinated, boostered and COVID cautious. I don’t have a car but I do have driver’s license and clean record, so driving in parents car won’t be a problem. And my main means of transportation is my e-bike that takes me everywhere! I have excellent references from all the families I have worked with if they are needed!

I’m excellent at caring for children of any age, and I have experience working with children who are neurodivergent. My own lovely daughter is now 23! I love doing fun and creative things with kids -art, building, dancing, playing games, reading etc. I bring optional art projects and books based on the interests of your child, but I like to follow their inclinations. Hi! I have always loved working and engaging with children of all ages. I've been babysitting on and off for kids age 6mo - 12 y/o over the years, including my nephew and friends' children when they need extra backup or simply because I love the 1:1 time with them. I've done sleepover sitting and bedtime routines, school drop off/pick ups, homework help, lots of fun field trip adventures with older kids, creative projects or games at home, etc. I'm comfortable and confident with any aged child. In 2021 I took a professional sabbatical during which time I worked as a substitute teacher with Mission Montessori (for the pure enjoyment of it), working with children 6 months - 3 years old. I have also volunteered as a reading and homework tutor of elementary school-aged children in the past. I'm very good with kids - patient, child-centered and love to make them feel seen and supported emotionally while encouraging their creativity and learning.
