I'm a caring and creative caregiver with hands-on experience as a preschool teacher, where I worked with children ages 2-5 for a full school year. In the classroom, I have worked with children with neurodivergence, including ADHD and autism. I have over 6 months of babysitting/nannying experience working with 8-month-olds to 10-year-olds. In addition, I am an eldest daughter who has basically raised my younger sisters, who are now in their late teens, so I technically have years of experience with up to 17-year-olds. I have an associate's degree in Child and Adolescent Development, giving me a strong understanding of developmental stages and age-appropriate care. I am also First-Aid & CPR-certified and fully vaccinated. My top strengths include planning engaging activities, encouraging imaginative play, and supporting children's growth in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment. I love helping kids learn, explore, and feel confident being themselves!

Hello, my name is Jamie, and I am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Child and Adolescent Development. During my academic school year, I am apart of different on campus organizations but love to work and support youth as well. For the past 3 summers, I have been caregiving for children ages 1–12. My ultimate priority is to create a fun, safe, and supportive environment for all aged children. Though I recently joined the UrbansSitter community, I have been a child caregiver for different families. In my most recent babysitting job, I babysat a toddler, that I have been caregiving for two summers. I have experience building that long-term relationship with both the child and family. I would also love to incorporate the material and skills I’ve learned in my education, into my caregiving experience. I joined UrbanSitter to gain more hands on experience and continue growing as a caregiver. Outside of work and school, I love playing sports, going hiking, and spending time with my younger brothers. I would describe myself as a patient, dependable, energetic, and caring, person. My ultimate goals is for families to feel comfortable, safe, and supported when trusting me with their children.

“Jamie is sweet and was wonderful with our two boys. She was reliable, warm and jumped right in. The boys were very comfortable with her right away. She helped with dinner and put them to bed with ease. We really appreciated her help and would be happy to work with her again. ”

Hi, my name is Faith- I grew up in and love San Francisco. When I'm not babysitting, I'm surf instructing middle and high school age kids, baking, or singing to my cat. I'm CPR and first aid certified for infants, toddlers, and adults. I have experience working with infants and toddlers both on outings and at home, and elementary school aged children at home, sleep away camps, and surf summer camps. I love reading with kids, as well as baking, doing crafts, or leaving the house to walk or go to the park. When working with kids I think it's important to have empathy and and patience, as well as respect for their boundaries and autonomy. I like to resolve conflict by making sure everyone feels heard and allowing children to feel and have space to process big emotions. I take care of my cat, Dumpling, at home, and I have experience feeding, walking, and sitting for dogs. I'm also always open to caring for other pets and broadening my knowledge. In terms of senior care, I 've had the opportunity to intern at the VA hospital in their longer term wards and HDU. I'm happy to provide check-ins, cooking or meal prep services, or companionship. House hold services I can help with are cooking/baking, cleaning, and laundry.

“Faith is super responsible and also super fun! Our son loves spending time with her. Highly recommend.”

Hello! My name is Annika - I’m offering childcare, pet care, and household services. I’ve been working with children for nearly seven years now, and have experience tutoring all age levels. I grew up on a farm, so I’m very comfortable taking care of furry (or scaly) friends too! I’d be happy to help around the house - cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, and running errands.

“So kind and sweet with our 3 month old baby! Thank you again for all your help today. :) ”

Hello! My name is Savannah, and I am currently an elementary school teacher. I earned my degree in Child Development with an emphasis in Elementary Education from San Francisco State University. I also have an MA in Curriculum and Instruction from SFSU. My passion for teaching began at a young age, inspired by watching my mother teach. I started working with children at 12 as a teacher’s assistant at my dance studio and became a dance teacher at 14, working with students ages 3–12 for six years. I’ve also worked in a child development center with toddlers and have many years of babysitting experience with school-age children. I am passionate about creating positive, engaging learning environments where children feel supported and inspired. Outside of teaching, I’m a big dog lover and have grown up with golden retrievers my whole life!
