Hi There, I have loads of experience caring for children. My personality is very nurturing, fun, understanding and artistic. - 2 AA degrees in Early Childhood Education and Studio Art. I was a preschool teacher at Bright Horizons at UCSF for 6 years. - DONA Post- partum Doula trained since 2008 - raised two children of my own who are now in college. I love giving space for children to be curious, creative and mindful. A few hobbies of mine are water color painting, Ikebana Flower arranging and gardening. I am looking for extra work to be flexible with my school schedule as I am working towards my degree in Art. References upon request. Kindest regards, Claudia
“Claudia is amazing! Our toddler is so shy and scared of new sitters and she made him feel safe instantly. She was lovely, super responsive, caring, and wonderful. We will hire her again and again!”
Hello! My name is Nati :) I am an experienced childcare teacher who brings energy, warmth, and imagination to every family I work with. I’m currently a full time preschool teacher— I work primarily with 2’s and 3’s. Thus, I’m thoroughly experienced with multiple children at once!I’m also experienced with infants and older children! I'm a Yale student taking a gap year, which gives me the unique opportunity to dedicate my time to doing what I love most—working with kids! I am very artsy, love to read with kids, and am super-super playful!I believe in fostering a positive and supportive environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to grow. My time at Yale has also taught me the importance of curiosity and critical thinking—qualities I aim to inspire in the kids I work with. My other experience: I grew up in a home with young children and have babysitted since I was 13 years old. I have three years of professional experience working as the Youngest Campers Lead (ages 4-6) at Steve & Kate's Camp (a day camp) during the summer and winter breaks. When I’m not working with children, I love baking, reading, and going on hikes. I’m also CPR and First Aid certified and skilled at managing busy schedules. I love to clean, cook, and play at the same time! I know that managing kids can be a handful, and I'd love to help you in any way I can!
“Very professional! Natalia was so great, she was very prompt, reliable, and caring. I would recommend Natalia to anyone with an infant because she’s very knowledgeable about what to expect according to their age and development (at 9 months of age in my case), and was very optimistic and positive. She was very empathetic and operated exactly according to my needs! ”
I’m a teacher taking time off this year to pursue some personal projects! I’m looking for a bit of flexibility in my schedule, but quite available for last minute needs. I taught PK and 6th grade ELA in the Bay Area for the past 6 years, worked abroad for the 3 before that, and coached swim and nannied through college. I love sports, the outdoors, and the arts. I’m most passionate about building confidence and independence in the kids I work with. And I’ll always encourage curiosity and play.
“Nicole is great! She worked in education and is great with my young kids--plays games, does art, reads and is a pro at bedtime. Nicole is kind, patient, reliable and great with kids.”
I am a mother of 2 kids ages 10 and 6. I work in education as a special education paraprofessional for over 10 years. I’m among elementary students 5-11 years old everyday. I have very good communication techniques with kids. I’m very knowledgeable of kids needs and wants. I know many strategies when working with elementary school age children. I am able to connect to children. I had a cat for 19 years. She currently lives with my parents because we moved. We recently got a dog as well. I am good with pets as I grew up with a cat. I’m fun, and able to connect with kids. I love board games, card games, building legos, coloring, and doing puzzles. I am CPR certified. I look forward to connecting with you. I’m looking to pick up some jobs on the side for some extra income. I look forward to meeting you!
“Donna helped out on a last minute request after another sitter backed out. She was on time, friendly and easy to work with. We would absolutely work with her again. Thank you, Donna!”
Hello there! My name is Juabidun, and I have been babysitting for about 10 years now! I have primarily babysat my 3 younger siblings from when they were newborns, but I am also trusted with my cousin’s and aunt’s children. I can change diapers, feed children, and bathe as well (children who are able to stand and are potty-trained). I love being able to talk with children and watch them grow because I can see the next generation of people thriving in front of me. I also love to hear the ideas of young children about what they care about, believe in, and their future hopes. My biggest belief is that when taking care of children, being the most patient version of myself is crucial because these are beings that are still learning and growing. They deserve love, affection, and attention in order to become the best versions of themselves. In addition to these things, I am capable of doing light house-keeping/chores and am open to running small errands as well. I hope that I can be a great candidate in your babysitter hunt :)
“Juabidun was amazing with our 10 month old when he had a fussy evening. We would definitely hire her again!”
