Hi my name is Patrick but go by my preferred name Benny. I live and work in San Francisco in the financial services industry on the client services team. I’ve always loved working with kids and have experience looking after toddlers and kids having two young boy cousins (current age 7 and 5) who I care for from time to time. I can cook and complete other household chores as needed and am looking forward to helping families in the city!

$30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in San Francisco, CA

As the second oldest of seven children, I have spent most of my life caring for kids. From ages 17 to 19, I was the sole caregiver for my two youngest siblings, then ages 0 to 4, due to an illness in the family. I started babysitting at a young age and quickly built a reputation for being especially good with young children. I went on to work in K-12 summer camps for four summers, then spent two years as a program leader in a K-8 public school afterschool program. During my thirteen years as a flight attendant, I completed annual first aid training, including infant and child CPR and Heimlich maneuver certification. I live in Cole Valley with my small, perfect dog Lola and my partner, who works at a tech start up. I'm reliable, responsible, and very flexible with scheduling. I hold an undergraduate degree in Global Studies and am currently transitioning into education and social impact work. I stay active in the community through food insecurity and youth literacy volunteer programs, as an avid reader, I love to spread my love of books to the next generation! I am a deeply curious and empathic person who believes in meeting someone where they are at and always listening first. I have pets my entire adult life and am also happy to pet sit or take your furry friend for a walk.

“Kayla was an immediate hit with the kids. She was super warm, gentle and calm, and handled a teething baby with grace!”

Joshua $20 per hour for 1 child

Grew up taking care of my younger sister while both my parents worked long hours. Worked for healthcare system backoffice software for the last decade. Looking to make a bigger community impact and help real people outside the healthcare system. I'm extremely patient and work well with all sorts of personalities, albeit I can be a little bit awkward sometimes. I love fixing things and getting into the details. Always happy to listen to people's stories.

Cassandra $30 per hour for 1 child

I studied Engineering at San José State University and have several years of experience working with children. I worked as an after-school STEM Educator in the Santa Clara School District at an elementary school, where I taught kids basic engineering concepts through hands-on activities, building projects, and problem-solving exercises. I enjoyed making learning fun while helping students develop creativity, teamwork, and confidence. I also worked as a YMCA instructor, teaching children basketball and soccer. I’m patient, responsible, energetic, and enjoy creating a safe and positive environment where kids can learn and have fun.

Hi families, I’m Olivia! Here’s a little about me: • Education: Graduated from the University of Oregon last year with a major in Advertising and a minor in Psychology (Go Ducks!!). •Relocation: I am moving from a small town (Hood River, Oregon) to San Francisco on September 11 and am looking for caregiving work in the Bay Area. • Daycare experience: Worked in a daycare for a couple of years, supporting children of various ages. • Big sister role: Helped raise my younger sister who is 12 years younger than me, from bottles and homework to activities and routines. • Babysitting and dog sitting: Years of experience caring for kids and pets. I also lived with two golden retrievers who taught me patience and responsibility. • Strengths: Reliable, caring, organized, fun-loving, and calm under pressure. • What I love: Creating safe, engaging environments where kids feel happy, supported, and encouraged to be themselves. • New here: This is my first time on UrbanSitter, but I bring a strong background and a genuine passion for caregiving.
