From ages 17 to 19, I was the sole caregiver for my two youngest siblings, then ages 0 to 4, due to an illness in the family. I started babysitting at a young age and quickly built a reputation for being especially good with young children. I went on to work in K-12 summer camps for four summers, then spent two years as a program leader in a K-8 public school afterschool program. During my thirteen years as a flight attendant, I completed annual first aid training, including infant and child CPR and Heimlich maneuver certification.
