Professionally I worked with several companies that provide childcare to several different types of children, including those with learning and physical disabilities. I currently work with the YMCA at an elementary school. In this role, I am responsible for 20 students, making sure they complete their homework and providing snacks/supper and enrichment lessons to further their education. Education is very important to me as someone working with kids. Outside of childcare, I do have experience with small dogs and cats and have no problem providing household services. I've worked at boys and girls club as a staff member and I was a school bus driver at HB boys and girls club. I also was a school bus driver for Durham school services for 3 yrs . I am in process of having my PSS. Which a peer support specialist where I help people. I'm really good with kids I always respect them and treat them as an equal and I do not talk down to them I speak to them I've also have taken ROP child development courses.
