I've work with and care for children in a professional and leisurely capacity , starting from infancy as early as three months up to school age which I consider any where between 5 yrs - 10 yrs. I"m spunky, crafty and don't mind getting messy and doing a little exploring with your child. I'm CPR and first aid certified, I'm also certified as a mandated reporter and have been finger printed and cleared to work in the state of California . This would be a part-time position for me , as I'm currently employed full time as a Preschool teacher in a well know child care corporation in the Los Angeles area.

My name is Lesly, I have a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Cal State LA. I have over three years of hands-on experience working one-on-one with children of all ages in school and home settings. My work has focused on supporting children’s developmental, emotional, and academic needs and providing consistent care. Before that, I worked as a babysitter while attending college, further deepening my understanding of child development and family dynamics. Growing up, I was also the primary caregiver for my younger siblings, which taught me early on the importance of responsibility, patience, and empathy.

My name is Nancy. I am the first born daughter of 8 children. I’ve been helping my mom take care of my siblings which have built the foundation of my profession. I’m currently a preschool teacher and have previous experience with being a substitute teacher for about 6 years. Through substituting, I was able to obtain a lot of my professional experience. I’ve been to a vast amount of daycares where I got to see and learn different learning styles in children as well as different approaches to learning and teaching children to achieve their milestones. I’ve been in a classroom where I’ve had to potty train and can say I was able to learn a few techniques. I’ve also been “long-term” in some sites where I was able to grow a bond with some of the children and celebrate their success. I do have a sibling with Asperger’s autism who is 15, so I have some experience with children on the spectrum.

I’m knowledgeable about basic child safety practices and CPR/first aid awareness, and I always prioritize children’s well-being and comfort. I keep kids engaged with creative play, reading, outdoor time (if parents allow it) , and simple learning activities.
