Whether it was for the neighbors next door, at the church nursery or for some of my high school teachers, I grew up watching kids! Although I'm more familiar with children from infancy to 6 years of age, I don't shy away from kids who are older. I am a very upbeat and outgoing person so I'm always getting down on the floor and playing with children and helping them expand their imagination! Hello! I am Los Angeles based, working part time in advertising and looking for a regular part time or occasional childcare position, ideally 10-15 hours a week. I am one of six kids and began working with children at the age of 13. I'm now in my thirties, with many years of nannying behind me. I have taken care of children of all ages and stages of childhood. I have been certified in CPR in the past, and would be willing to update that certification if needed. I am fun, present, and engaging with children. I believe in the importance of enjoying nature, and will often take children on hikes or other outdoor excursions. As a former ballet dancer, I have taught children's dance classes and encourage creative expression in whichever form it might appear. In prior nanny positions I've offered tutoring/homework help with elementary and high school courses. I'm happy to cook, have no problem dropping off/picking up at school, and do have my own vehicle if any transportation is needed. I am also willing to do light house cleaning. I encourage creativity and growth with the children and allow for a fun and safe environment to learn and play, while being sensitive to each little one's individual needs. I've babysat for infants, toddlers, pre-school and school-age children. I have worked as an Assistant Teacher and Camp Counselor and love building relationships with the children I work with. Booking Agreement: Hello, before going through the following policy, please understand that once you have scheduled a booking with me, you agree to the terms of this agreement and will abide by it. 1. Running Late: Please let me know at least hour ahead of time if you are going to be late. If I don’t receive a text/call, there will be a late fee of time and a half. 2. Early arrival: If you are arriving early, please let me know so that I can arrange to leave earlier from your home. However, I still expect to be paid for the time as scheduled. 3. Cancellations: I know unexpected things can happen but if you need to cancel. Please do it 48 hours before the original booking. This will give me time to book another family. If I am not cancelled within the time frame above, I charge a $50 fee. I know unexpected things can happen but if you need to cancel please do it within 48 hours before the original booking. Exceptions to this rule: If you/child are ill, then this does not apply. Any other reasons will be considered, however please let me know ASAP. I look forward to working with your family.
