My specialized skills are in special education, caregiving infant, toddlers, and elementary school children and specialized tutoring in Spanish, but have worked with all ages. In addition to the usual household assistant duties, I excel at managing schedules, arranging travel, running errands, and keeping spaces tidy and organized (thank you, diagnosed OCD). Hello!!! My name is Kennedy, and I'm a 22-year-old College student. I've received my AA in Communications from SMC and will be receiving my B. A. in Communications from Loyola Marymount University in December. I'm fluent in Spanish, love working out, wellness, being active, reading, and exploring this world! I absolutely love children and have a huge respect for them, as I think they're the smartest and greatest humans :) I'd describe my personality as kind, empathetic, and gregarious. I have been a high school English teacher for seven years, serving public and private school communities. I received my education in English Literature from Biola University, with specialized study at Oxford University, and attended Humboldt State University for my teaching credentialing program. While most of my teaching experience is with high school students, I have also been a care taker for younger children as well. Really, I just think all kids are pretty goofy and great! Aloha families - I am a semi retired credentialed teacher - elementary through middle school. I am currently substitute teaching -on call- LAUSD at my discretion a d we are on summer break. I also nanny for one wonderful family - two boys 3 and 5 years old one day a week on Tuesdays - for summer camp and on school days.
