Hi my name is Gabriela, I’m currently in school and in my third year at Sacramento State! I'm studying Communication Sciences and Disorders to hopefully become a Pediatric Speech Therapist/Audiologist. I have always loved working with kids! My mom has been a babysitter for 15+ years and I've gained everything I know from her as she is the best babysitter ever! I've worked in a couple places with kids such as helping with date nights, working consistently with families, and at the daycare at the Sac State Campus. There I would work with all different age groups such as 8-month-olds all the way to 4-year-olds. I would mostly spend my time in the classroom with the 8mo-2-year-olds and I loved it so much! I got to create engaging activities for the kids to expand their mental capabilities and I also free d them and changed their diapers. I am a very quick learner and am very open minded. My schedule is very flexible on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at the moment due to school but I'd be willing to help any family in need of a babysitter!

I'm the eldest to three younger siblings (aged 10 months, 9, and 18) and care for several cats, dogs, and lizards in my home! I am an older sister so growing up I would act as the second mom and be very protective over my little sister. In general growing up I was always one of the oldest kids with family friends and just family in general. I was raised surrounded by kids and that is really where I grew the love for them and especially the patience for them. I am such a happy fun, loving and loud person to where I keep the kids entertained or if they get bored I just make up random games on the spot and have some fun. In my first 3 years of high school I coached one of the local youth cheer teams. I worked with ages 4-12 in this role. This past summer before I moved here for school and now I am a seasonal worker I am an employee at Carmel Valley Ranch. I work at the kids camp there. It basically is a everyday day care center where it is a play room where we do crafts, read books, play games, and take the kids outside to enjoy the fresh air. With this and young kids having fun we do clean up the room a good amount of times during the day. With being surrounded by kids through out my whole life I am not studying to go into education for the ages 1st-3rd.
