Hello! My name is Lauren, and I am a mom to a 2.5-year-old. I am CPR and first aid certified. In addition to this, I've had many different experiences caring for children, ranging from being a nanny to teaching and working at youth organizations and schools. Experience: --I was a nanny for a 13- and 14-year-old the summer after college. --I worked at a home for children in Mexico for three years, where I cared for the children and helped with various education projects. --I taught reading and writing at an elementary school and was a Community School Director at a junior high. --I have a Master’s Degree in International Development and Education and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy. Beyond childcare, I also have experience caring for animals. At home, I take care of our two dogs as well as geese, ducks, and chickens. These responsibilities have taught me the importance of patience, attentiveness, and maintaining a routine—qualities that carry over into caregiving for children. I love caring for children and animals alike and have made it my life’s work to nurture, teach, and support others!

After working as a baby sitter for a few years I got a job working with a business in Durango Colorado called Nifty Nanny through 2017 and 2018. After that I kept doing babysitting in Tuscon Arizona. In 2021 I worked at a overnight summer camp called Colvig Silver Camps for 2 months so I’ll have plenty of games and activities to keep your kids happy. I have CPR certification and Wilderness First Aid Certification.

I am a young professional in the finance industry in Denver and a long time nanny/ babysitter. I have over 12 years of experience and am CPR certified. The majority of families I have worked for have had children aged 6 and under, however I have experience watching (and mainly tutoring) kids in the elementary to highschool range. I grew up in Denver and am still very close to several of the families I’ve worked with over the years. I’ve always loved caring for/ teaching others and dream of being a mom one day. For now, having the opportunity to care for other people’s kids keeps me happy! I own a home in the University neighborhood and can usually be found at work, the gym, or walking around Wash Park.
