Hi! I’m Simona, a sophomore at the University of Tampa, where I’m an Honors College student majoring in Criminology. Working with children has always been something I genuinely love. I’ve been babysitting and serving as a camp counselor since I was 14 years old, and for the past two years I’ve also been teaching swim lessons to children of all ages. With over five years of experience caring for kids, from infants and toddlers to school-aged children and teens. I have worked with children of many different personalities, abilities, and needs. I’m patient, responsible, energetic, and committed to creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where children can learn, play, and thrive. Whether it’s helping with homework, planning engaging activities, preparing meals, or simply being a dependable caregiver, I always strive to make every family feel confident and comfortable while their children are in my care.

I have a BSW (Bachelor of Social Work) from USF. I am a licensed Realtor . I like to stay busy and have volunteered for over 30 years with a local hospital. Since Covid, I am not longer doing that. My greatest joys in life are my two sons and six grandchildren. I am active and enjoy taking my grands to the park and the pool. I also enjoy helping home schooling them. I have volunteered at my church for years, often taking people to doctor appointments and chemo. I have my own car and am able to run errands if needed. I love cats and dogs. I enjoy walking dogs. The last dog I took care of, Sunny, needed long walks. We did 3 miles a day plus. This was in Idaho. Not sure that is practical in Tampa in the summer.

Hello! I am currently studying for medical school and am working as a scribe full-time, but am looking for some extra work hours. I recently graduated from USF with a Master’s degree in public health. I have my BS in psychology/pre-med from Northwestern University. I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old when I received my safe sitter license. I am certified in CPR as a certified nursing assistant and lifeguard. I have watched children of all ages and abilities, and really value all that I have learned from them. Outside of watching children, I have skills in communication, cooking, tutoring, and cleaning.

I love watching dogs and watching them inspired me to get a puppy of my own! Dogs must get along with my puppy and he loves to play! Long walk and the dog park are guaranteed with me.
