I'd describe my personality as fun, attentive, and caring. I like working with kids because I grew up in a pretty large family and love being a part of the development and growth of children! I love seeing the moment a new skill or trait clicks for them, and I love helping them turn into the people they were created to be! I started working with kids in middle school through babysitting and working in the church nursery and kids classes. I currently serve as the deacon of kids ministry at my church and regularly serve in child care on Sunday mornings. I worked as a full time nanny for a few months after graduating college. I've been babysitting and nannying off and on since then, and most recently worked as an afterschool program coordinator with elementary and middle school students. With that being said, I have experience in the healthcare field from working in Long-term acute care facilities and memory care senior homes, enabling me to sharpen skills such as empathy, patience, and being more nurturing to the patients and their families.
