Hi families! I’m a 19 y/o college student studying early childhood education! I am bilingual ( English + Spanish) I am located near Wheeling and am available everyday mornings and evenings, except for Sundays! I am available for full time, part time, or one time babysitting jobs! I have previous babysitting experience with ages 2-10. I got a certificate for completion of 450 hours on the job training for Early Childhood Educator apprenticeship program for district 214. I was a student intern at Anne Sullivan Elementary School for 2 semesters my senior year. I also worked part time at a day care at Wheeling High-school. (I currently volunteer at that same day care whenever I’m available) I developed skills such as - problem solving, time management, and interpersonal skills like communication and leadership. I've always loved babysitting and have been watching infants, toddlers, and kids since I was fourteen (I have a really big family with lots of younger cousins who I've helped out with all my life), as well as worked at a daycare where I took care of children ages infant to five years old. Due to my theatre background I regularly include make believe play in my interactions with children, using different voices and mannerisms while asking the children questions and helping to build their imaginative skills. On top of that I've also been certified by the Red Cross in infant and regular CPR. I can also work as a household assistant and can clean and run errands. As I have my own cat I am more than comfortable with cat sitting and have done so for multiple family friends.
