With over a decade of professional experience in child care; lifeguard, swim instructor, children's birthday entertainer, substitute teacher, and daycare worker/pre-k teacher, I have just about every child imaginable. I've also been babysitting since I was 12, for my parents, cousins, friends, and the occasional co-worker who needed a night off. I've seen all ages, 6m-17y. I like to think I connect with children so well because I truly am just a big kid at heart. But I also know when play time is over and to be firm, but fair. I have training in basic first aid, CPR, basic diabetic care, certified in anaphylactic safety, certified in allergy safety, certified in food handling and safety.

I am currently working at an after-school program where I work with over sixty kids. I like to make a safe and positive environment where kids can have a fun time. I can help them with homework, plan some fun activities to do, take them to a local park, or watch a movie. I'm a-ok with pets (mostly dogs and cats). As of right now, I am not CPR certified, but I'm trying to get my certificate. I'm in my second year of college, so I don't have a degree (yet). Also, I have a drivers license, but I don't have a car. I have reliable transportation to and from homes, but I am not available for child transportation and will not drive family vehicles.
