I have worked at 3 different daycares for the past 30 years. I'm actually in the process of owning and directing a new center in Lombard ,which should be open Mid summer.I'm just looking for something part-time or occasional until its ready to open.

I have been a pediatric speech language pathologist for 14 years. Prior to beginning my career, I had extensive baby-sitting experience. I will provide care for my nephews and niece regularly. I have extensive experience working with children with special needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder. In addition to providing speech and language services, I am also a feeding therapist. Hi - My name is Gisele and I'm currently a nursing student going for my masters degree while finding my passion and future specialty. I am offering child care, senior care, and household services. I am open to taking care of pets in addition, as long as the animal is trained and low maintenance. As the 4th in a line of 5 siblings I have extensive experience with toddlers and young children. As a caregiver, my grandmother was my 1st client. I begged my mother to pull her out of the nursing home (after seeing how she was treated there) and to allow me to take care of her full time while I finished high school via homeschooling. Additionally, I have experience with dementia, Alzheimer's and Parkinson’s. My duties as a caregiver have included (but not limited to) escort shifts (doctor’s appts / running errands), medication reminders and management, as well as household management. My specialty with children as well as senior clients are centered around enrichment and mental development. I am CPR certified, have my own vehicle and have a fingerprint record in the IL registry. As previously mentioned I can also function as a household assistant or manager. I ran a department for a South Suburban township for 5 years. This role required me to create and maintain tracking software, track application invoices, scheduling across 4 different calendars, run reports and administer training. On top of conducting intake for my own clients. While my employment history is colorful, I do believe my experience makes me uniquely suited for a multitude of tasks. Needless to say I can handle anything throw at me and am always willing to learn something new. All clients are considered family!! Lets keep building it together!

Hi! My name is Zoey and I'm 18 years old. I'm a freshman in college looking for extra jobs to pick up and I figured babysitting would be the best for me! I currently have a job already but I am trying to get my first car and the hours there just isn't enough so I feel like babysitting could make me extra money while do something I like! I do have more experience with pets specifically dogs than people but I have babysat children in the past and it was something I enjoyed doing so I think this is a good fit. I have one dog now and she is a Presa Canaria and I love and cherish her very much. I did have a Maltese poo but he just recently passed at 14 years old so I've had him since I was little. I went to high school at Whitney Young here in Chicago and my current career path is to become an aesthetic nurse practitioner to eventually open my own medspa. I think that I like caregiving because I'm a very patient and humble person already, a lot of people I know describes me to be laid back but observant of my surroundings which I think is important when it comes to kids or pets because anything can happen in a very short amount of time with them whether is big or small so you just have to be sure to pay attention but keep a calm spirit because I've learned that when you're not calm they also aren't. Overall, I'm looking forward to start this position of caregiving!
