Hi! I'm a DePaul University graduate with 15+ years of experience caring for children from infancy through the teen years as a nanny, babysitter, tutor, and violin teacher. I speak English, Spanish, Farsi, and Arabic, and have been a violinist for over 20 years. I have extensive experience with infants, toddlers, school-age children, and teens, including feeding, naps, developmental play, homework help, transportation, and bedtime routines. I'm also experienced caring for children and adults with special needs, including autism and developmental disabilities, and I strive to provide patient, individualized, and compassionate care. Beyond childcare, I have experience as a household manager and personal assistant, helping with meal prep, laundry, organization, errands, scheduling, light housekeeping, and keeping busy households running smoothly. I'm also comfortable caring for pets and can assist with feeding, walking, medications, and daily care. Families describe me as reliable, warm, organized, and proactive. I have my own reliable car, a clean driving record, am fully vaccinated (including COVID booster), and do not smoke. I'm available for occasional, part-time, short-term, overnight, and last-minute bookings. I'd love the opportunity to support your family and provide dependable, engaging, and attentive care for your children and home. ----- Booking Policies My time and budget is planned around the hours booked, so I ask that you honor payment for the entire booking, regardless if you come home early. I'm also generally flexible if you need me to stay later than scheduled as long as that is communicated to me. Zelle or cash are my preferred payment methods. Thank you and I look forward to meeting your family!

Hello! My name is Caroline and I'm a nonprofit professional for a healthcare association and graduate of DePaul University. I've worked as an after-school nanny, date night sitter, full-time nanny, overnight sitter, and as an Au Pair(nanny abroad). As an Au Pair, I lived with a family of three in Madrid. Hi, my name is Janneth! Originally from Mexico, I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, and I’ve been caring for children since I was 15 years old. Babysitting has always been more than just a job for me, it’s a beautiful way to connect with kids and be welcomed into their world through kindness, patience, and respect. I remember how challenging it was for my parents to find someone they could truly trust to care for me and my siblings. That’s why I take this role seriously and always show up with the same love and respect that my parents wished for us. I love spending time outdoors, doing puzzles, coloring, and listening to music. I’m also great with dogs, I’m happy to help with Spanish homework or practice! Your child’s safety, joy, and well-being are my top priorities, and I look forward to being someone you can count on.

I am the oldest of six children and was more of a parent than a sister to all of them. The two youngest kids are 15 and 13 years younger than I am. I love children and have always enjoyed being around them. I am a trained Chef and can cook or help prepare meals if needed. I am also a Chef Instructor and Assistant Food Stylist. At this time I am interested in occasional babysitting to supplement my freelance income. Being able to hang out with kids would be a fun and fulfilling way to do that.
