Despite being in grad school, I’m a child at heart, enjoy watching kid movies/cartoons, playing outside, painting, and board games. Hi! My name is Emily. I'm a 4th year medical student looking to connect with my community and offset some of medical school's high costs. I am offering child care, dog care, and household services. During my training I have cared for pediatric patients in both acute (emergency), inpatient, and clinic settings. I love working with kids and am currently interviewing with pediatric residency programs! I am BLS certified for infants, children, and adults. I have experience babysitting for children between 2 months and 12 years. I believe it's my duty as a caregiver to help create a safe and magical world for children to explore. When babysitting I love taking the kids to explore outside, reading books, and making up any wacky games I can think of! I am a dog owner and feel comfortable caring for most dogs. I have a car and am happy to do any appointment/activity drop off, grocery shopping, cooking, or cleaning needed in the household.

I have a Masters in Education and working to get a second Masters degree, and I have other relevant childcare experience from working at a preschool as well as a K-8 summer camp. Hi! My name is Artemis, my students call me Teacher Art! I’ve been teaching early childhood since April 2025 and I absolutely LOVE working with kids! My classroom had the most allergy students in the center so I am very familiar with allergy protocols. I have my SBS certification, my SIDS certification, and my Food Handler’s certification as well! My favorite things to do are puzzles, story time, and art activities! I also love getting to see what my students are interested in and using that knowledge to build stronger connections! I have a background in singing and art therapy, and I try to incorporate that into my work with my students. I have two years teaching experience with middle school aged students with disabilities as well. I’m fluent in English and Spanish, and intermediate in ASL. I also have experience working with seniors both in a nursing home and in home care as well. I have experience bathing and dressing seniors, meal prepping for them, and cleaning up their home. My dream would be to become a full time nanny for one family.

I am a current grad student at UIC in the physical therapy program! I’ve completed my bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at Illinois State University in May 2024. I worked as a caregiver for 2 summers in a row during my undergrad at a memory care assisted living facility in Elmhurst, IL. I also worked as a rehab tech at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab Pediatric Outpatient clinic in Glenview, IL from May 2024-July 2025. I have a passion for helping and caring for people in any capacity.
