Hello, Thank you for reading my profile. I am a newly retired Educator with significant experience teaching and working with elementary school children. In recent years I have taught kindergarten and worked with children who have a variety of needs, temperaments, and talents. I am thoughtful, caring, and conscientious, and will provide a high quality of care. I am also a parent and have had the pleasure of raising a child from infancy to adulthood. A little about me: I am in my early twenties, just graduated from the University of Iowa and I work in advertising downtown. As for my experience with watching over kids, I have worked many years as a camp counselor at a high-end sailing camp in the British Virgin Islands, and have also been a student volunteer at a primary school in New Zealand. I have my CPR as well. I am the eldest of three, so caretaking has been a big part of my life! I am an ER Physician Assistant waiting to begin my job in April/May! I love kiddos and am looking to help families out while supplementing my income before beginning my career. My previous experience includes babysitting, working with children and adults with developmental disabilities, and working in a pediatric hospital. I spent 4 years as an ER tech at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH which is a Level 1 trauma center so I am very informed on safety, illness prevention, and complex medical conditions.
