Hi! I’m Funmbi 😊 I’m a graduate student at Boston University School of Medicine, and I’ve always naturally been someone who takes care of others. I’m the oldest of five siblings, so a lot of my experience started at home-helping out, staying organized, and being someone my siblings could rely on. I’ve also worked with kids of all ages through my church’s children’s and youth ministry, so I’m comfortable stepping in whether it’s playtime, helping with homework, or keeping a routine going. I also volunteer in my community and plan to attend medical school, so being dependable and attentive really matters to me. I’d describe myself as calm, patient, and easy to be around. I try to meet kids where they are, whether they’re energetic, shy, or just need someone to listen. I also worked as a Patient Care Assistant, which helped me become even more attentive, responsible, and aware when it comes to safety and making sure people feel comfortable and supported. I also love animals (especially dogs) so I’m more than happy to be around pets too. Hi - My name is Margaret. I'm a paraprofessional in an integrated (special needs and traditional education) preschool classroom at Placentino Elementary in Holliston. I’m looking for additional hours working with children and families after school, on school holidays, and weekends. I am offering child care, pet care, senior care, and household services. I live in Holliston with two of my own and two step children in their teenage and young adult years, and two dogs. I had cats for two decades prior to 2020. I’ve been an active member of the PTA for many of my children’s school years, have experience in ABA and working with neurodiverse children and adults with traits or official diagnosis of ADHD. autism, and dyslexia. I am also a certified yoga instructor working towards an additional yoga certification for neurodiverse children and adults. As an older sibling of three, I have been taking care of little ones since I can remember. I babysat neighbors and family friends since I was 14, and have worked with children of all ages in school-based settings throughout high school and college. I’ve worked as a summer camp counselor for two summers(4-6 year olds), babysitter (children under the age of 10), and surgical dental assistant, so I’m calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and genuinely love helping others.
