Hello I’m Scarlen! I am a Licensed Nursing Assistant at Massachusetts General Hospital and have six years of experience working with children from 7 months to 14 years old. I am fluent in Spanish and passionate about providing safe, attentive, and nurturing care while building positive connections with children and families. I am certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR, allowing me to respond quickly and responsibly in emergency situations. I work in education and grew up with dogs in my family. Since high school and college, I have been dog/pet sitting for different families. I have experience with all different sizes and breeds of dogs all the way from a yorkie to a mastiff. I am adaptable to meet the needs of the pet and care for the pet like they are my own. I am comfortable staying with the pet or doing drop ins. My schedule fluctuates but can be adaptable.

I am in New York City for the summer in the middle of my MSW program at Simmons University. I have extensive experience working with children in a variety of capacities (school counselor, teacher assistant, afterschool assistant, ABA assistant therapist, school social work intern, babysitter) I am a somewhat recent graduate from Boston College with an Applied Psychology and Human Development B.A. I am currently pursuing my MSW at Simmons University and am looking to help families with occasional or part-time babysitting, pet sitting, or other services.
