Miasol $27 per hour for 1 child

Hi, I'm Miasol! I'm the second eldest in a family of 4 wild, homeschooled kids who I helped care for in my childhood. Over the past 13 years, I've been hired by 20+ families to care for babies (independent sleep transition, eating solids transition, motor development, speech development, nap routines) as well as elementary age and preteen children (Nighttime routines, morning/after school care, tidying, transportation, cooking meals, and special needs). For a similar period, I've also taught music to children ages 4+. My nannying style values patience, keeping consistent boundaries for mental and physical wellbeing, and encouraging creative play (I energetically partake- Some children have kindly referred to me as Mary Poppins!). My passion is to help kids grow healthily and happily, and I have done so for over 75 in my time teaching and providing childcare. I'm a UNC Chapel Hill graduate who teaches music for Providence Day School in the afternoons, looking for a morning job!

$18 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Charlotte, NC

Hey there! My name is Pamella and I am a full time pediatric dental assistant who's looking to gain more experience as a babysitter. I absolutely love children and I have been a babysitter for over 3 years now. My responsibilities have been household chores, making lunches, and driving kids to and from school. I'm excited to use my skill and looking forward to hearing from you soon!

ā€œPamella is kind, patient, flexible, and responsible. She did a great job taking care of our 16 month old and even did some light housework. Would recommend.ā€

Jordan $25 per hour for 1 child

Hi there - my name is Jordan, I'm 29 years old, and I am currently a sales & marketing professional and have been a professional baby sitter since I was 14 years old. I have experience with Newborns, Toddlers and PreK - 8th Grade! I was part-time nanny for 2 families with multiple children for 5+ years throughout my late teens and early twenties while living in Las Vegas, NV and babysat as needed for a multitude of other families before I moved to Charlotte 4 years ago. A lot of my contacts and connections to these families came from my time as a Teacher's Assistant at a well known PreK - 8th Grade Preparatory School in the area. I worked there full time from 2013 to 2017 and worked with kids ranging from 2 YO to 13 YO. My time at the school was truly some of the best of my life! I eventually helped run their aftercare and summer school programs as well. To summarize, my experience babysitting spans many years, but I can truly say I have a genuine passion in connecting with our new generations! I have a casual and friendly approach, but one that is well-regarded and well-respected. I truly try to earn the respect from the families and kids that welcome me into their lives and I hope to do the same for you! I look forward to new memories babysitting here in the Queen City!

$20 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 10 families in Charlotte, NC

I have been a sitter for over 20 years, and am currently pursuing a master’s degree in developmental psychology. I have experience caring for kids of all ages, and am comfortable working with larger families and children with special needs. Working with children is something about which I am passionate and which I feel a calling to pursue. As a sitter I strive to strike a balance between energetic play and calm structure. I see my job as having 3 primary duties. Most importantly, keeping the children that I am watching safe. Next, maintaining the house rules and routine, so that children have a sense of stability when their parents are gone. Finally, I want to engage with the kids I am watching and help them have fun- I want "having a sitter" to be a positive experience, something to which they look forward! Beyond sitting I've participated in Big Brothers/Big Sisters and I have taught both martial arts and Sunday school classes for the last 20+ years (typically PK-3rd). I'm CPR and first aid certified, a non-smoker, and fully vaccinated. I’ve been blessed to work with many great families, and I am happy to provide references. Please reach out if you have questions- I am happy to chat. All the best!

ā€œIncredibly kind and professional. Truly helped us new parents have a few hours for a date night. Very grateful for taking care of our little one!!ā€
