Hi, My name is Aissatou. I am currently an MBA student with 10+ years of experience caregiving for children, pets and the elderly. My love for caregiving began when I would babysit my neighbor’s children at 17 years old while their single mom would work late shifts. The look of joy that she would give me when she returned to a clean home and children that were cared for was extremely rewarding and gave me a sense of pride. During my summer breaks in college, I would help take care of my elderly neighbor when her primary caregiver was away. I would cook, clean, do her laundry and help administer her medication. The admiration I had for her was so strong that when she was moved to a nursing home, I became a volunteer there.
