I am a substitute teacher with 20-year experience, working with children, ages ranging from infant to high school. I enjoy arts and crafts, and cooking.

I have tons of experience working with children, especially those in the five and under range. I have previously worked as a camp counselor for preschool aged children, in which I was the lead counselor responsible for fifteen four year old children. I also used to be a swim coach, teaching assistant, and still babysit and teach swim lessons today. All of these jobs have given me a multitude of different experiences with kids and have taught me how to best work with them depending on the situation.

I truly enjoy connecting with families and caring for their children. I find it so rewarding to support them as they grow into their little personalities. I have hands on experience working in a pediatricians office as well as on a Mother baby unit at Overlook Hospital where I support moms with their newborns during their postpartum stay. I am BLS certified and can bring a calm, attentive, safety-focused approach to childcare.

And spending time with children reminds me the importance of that. I've been working with kids for over ten years and as the oldest of five, caring for children and being attentive to their needs is first nature to me. My favorite part of nannying is when I see a child grow more confident in themselves and their abilities.
