Hi! My name is Ray and I have over a decade of childcare and tutoring experience, ranging from infants all the way up to high school. I studied inclusive education and fine arts at Houghton College in western New York. Though my childcare experience started at a young age babysitting, I have worked in professional settings as a nanny and teacher for kids of all ages. Most recently I was a preschool teacher for three years. I am currently working part time as a server on the weekends, but would love to get the chance to work with kids again! I have worked as a nanny and tutor for years, assisting with homework of all subjects. I also have experience with household errands such as cleaning, shopping, and laundry. I am comfortable with all kinds of pets and have lived with cats and/or dogs my whole life.

I’m a healthy, mature, caring, patient and dependable adult. I’m also a grandmother. I have a master’s degree in Education and I have taught grades 6-8 for 9 years. I love children of all ages. I’m easy to work with, proactive, considerate, and respectful. I drive, I speak Spanish, French, and Italian, and I can help with school work. I’m also a great cook! I work in Camden NJ weekdays from 7am to 3:45pm. I’m available from 4pm to 10pm Monday through Friday and I’m free daytimes or the occasional evening on the weekends. I can help with meal preparation, household chores, transport of children from school or to activities, pet care, and errands as needed.

I’m an empty nester looking for extra income. I have raised two healthy happy kids and am here to help. I can drive and do pet care too. I do not do housework beyond regular straightening up after play and cleaning up after meals. I can also do meal prep.

I have ten years of experience working as a childcare provider and educator. I have worked as a preschool teacher at a montessori school, full time nanny, special needs caretaker, dance teacher, personal assistant, dog sitter, camp counselor, and tutor. I have experience working with infants through adults. My approach as a nanny is to nurture each child’s personal development, foster creativity and learning, and most importantly to ensure health and safety. I genuinely love working with children and I do my best to meet each family’s individual needs.

I am a student at the University of Pennsylvania and I love working with children and pets! I have about 2 years of babysitting experience, working with children (infants - 10 years old). My responsibilities have included preparing food, reading to kids, putting them to sleep, cleaning, etc. I am fluent in Spanish and English. I am also conversational in German, Mandarin Chinese, and French. I am CPR certified. I have also volunteered in pet shelters for about 2 years. I hope to share my experience and passion with others!
