Hi- My name is Olu, and i’m currently a freshman in college and work as an assistant teacher at a daycare in Madison, where I’ve been for about a year. In my role, I supervise playtime, lead simple learning activities, help with meals and naps, and make sure the children are in a safe, supportive environment throughout the day. I’ve been working with kids since I was about 13 and have experience with children of different ages, though I have the most experience with kids between the ages of 1 and 6. Working with younger children has helped me develop a lot of patience and attentiveness, and I’m very comfortable helping manage routines while still making sure kids are having fun.
