Tameah $28 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Brooklyn, NY

As a dedicated nanny, my primary goal is to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. I am actively working with 2 babies but I have several years of experience working with many age groups, which has equipped me with the skills to handle their diverse needs, from infants to older children. I am comfortable working in homes with pets. My commitment extends beyond basic childcare; I am eager to assist with household tasks and be a helpful part of the family. I pride myself on preparing healthy meals, organizing fun and educational activities, and assisting with homework to support their development. Safety is my top priority, and I hold CPR and First Aid certifications to ensure I can respond effectively in emergencies. I thrive on building strong relationships with both the children and their families, fostering creativity, and encouraging a love for learning.

Alyssa $21 per hour for 1 child

Hi my name is Alyssa I'm currently a student at Hunter college looking for a way to gain more experience with kids as I am juggling between possible careers of an elementary school teacher or a small animal vet. I offer child care preferable toddler age to elementary school age. I enjoy babysitting kids I love to think of it as hanging out with them rather than being bossy. During the summer I work as a camp counselor, for 2 years I babysat a 5 year old girl afterschool, and I worked with a toddler for occasional weekends. I am familiar with traveling with children to any activities but I cannot drive as yet. I enjoy cartoons, being outside, drawing and painting. I love to think of myself as a fun and loving person. I am pet friendly as I do have two cats and hopefully a dog in the future. A secret plus if you do have a dog, I would love to walk your dog its enjoyable to me.

Ana 1 review
$25 per hour for 1 child

Hi families! My name is Ana, and I’m a warm, caring, and dependable childcare provider based in NYC! I have 4 years of experience with infants, toddlers, and school-aged children, and I genuinely love spending time with kids and being part of their everyday routines. :) I’ve completed a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, and I’m also CPR & First Aid certified, Infant Qualified (IQ), and have completed childcare training courses. I love keeping kids happy and engaged through play, arts & crafts, playgrounds, libraries, museums, the zoo, and playdates! I believe children learn so much through exploring, having fun, and trying new things. I’m patient, organized, and reliable, and I’m happy to help with children’s meals, laundry, play areas, and other related tasks. Most importantly, I want every child to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while in my care. I’m new to UrbanSitter, but I’m happy to provide references from families I’ve worked with upon request. I’m excited to meet your family! ☺️

“Consistent, caring, trustworthy - Ana worked with my son for 5 months. She showed up on time always with a smile. My son loved her. She’d take him to the zoo, aquarium, picnics in the park, etc. as well as cook nice meals for him. You’re lucky to have her”

Wendy 2 reviews
$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Brooklyn, NY

Hi! I've been a nanny and babysitter for over 14 years, caring for children from just a few weeks old up to age 12. What started as helping out a co-worker occasionally has grown into something I've done alongside my professional life for over a decade and I genuinely love it. More recently, I spent 7 years with one Brooklyn family, caring for their son from age 5 through 12 (through end of 2025). I currently have consistent part time work with a 3.5 year old. I've also worked with babies, toddlers, and sibling combos, including kids with autism and mood-related challenges. I'm confident juggling different needs, ages, and personalities, whether that's helping a toddler through potty training or guiding a 10-year-old through homework frustration. I'm comfortable with: -Infants, toddlers, and older children (including multiples) -Special needs (including mild autism and mood disorders) -Doctor visits -Daytime outings, pickups/drop-offs (currently only available for some drop offs) -Cooking, light cleaning, bedtime, bath time, homework help -Pet-friendly homes (I love animals!) -Out of town visits, including care in hotel rooms. I've lived in NYC for 11 years so I am very comfortable navigating the city and taking transit with kids if needed. Ultimately my goal is to make your life easier and help your child feel safe, supported, and seen. My other professional background in e-commerce & retail management has primed me for being able to prioritize, the ability to patiently & positively meet needs, to clearly communicate, and being comfortable with taking responsibility. Most importantly, it has made me realize that if I have to get a headache about something work related, it might as well be from an adorable screaming child. Things to know: -I have a 3 hour job minimum unless otherwise agreed upon -If my commute is reasonably 1+ hour away I also ask for half of my transit time be compensated.

“Wendy is very sweet and got along well with our toddler ”
