Shajna 2 reviews
$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in Flushing, NY

Hi my name is Shajna and I am a stay at home mother. I have three children of my own so I have a lot of experience!! I can work with toddlers and infants. I can work around the house, feeding and putting them to sleep and taking them to school. I also work as a household assistant and can cook, clean, and run errands.

“Shajna responded to an unusual request for a targeted intensive two weeks with our nine month old while I traveled on business. We are so lucky she did! Shajna was a marvelous nanny: professional, engaged, warm, responsible, and a joy to be around. She expertly learned our daughter's rhythms and got her to sleep faster than we imagined possible. She is an abundantly generous, unobtrusive and friendly presence to boot. We cannot recommend her highly enough!”

$15 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in Flushing, NY

Hi! I’m a responsible 19-year-old sitter in the Bronx with 4 years of babysitting experience. I’ve cared for children of various ages and am comfortable managing multiple kids while keeping things organized, safe, and fun. I can assist with meal prep, light household chores, and homework help — especially in ELA and Social Studies. I enjoy helping kids build confidence in reading, writing, and understanding what they’re learning. Beyond that I have plenty experience with both cats and dogs. I’m reliable, patient, and always focused on creating a positive and supportive environment for your family. Everyone needs a break sometimes and I hope to be able to provide that for you!

“Zoe was a delight! She is so caring, polite, reliable, punctual and communicative while she cared for my son. My son loved her!! I Would definetely book again. ”

$22 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Flushing, NY

Hi! I’m a dedicated childcare provider who just moved back to New York after spending the last four years teaching early learners (ages 3–6) in Krakow, Poland. I absolutely love working with kids and bring a lot of patience, creativity, and calm energy to my time with them. I’m also currently earning my master’s in education through the University of Glasgow. My goal is to create a fun, safe, and cozy environment where your child feels happy and supported. I’m always happy to help however I can — can’t wait to meet your family!

“*updating as of 1/13/26: we have continued to use Danielle regularly since we first met her and are BEYOND delighted to have found her. She is amazing with our son, he is SO excited to see her, and she's super reliable - you would be lucky to have Danielle watch your children! :) They go to the park, she prepares his meals, and I really appreciate that she plays with him / is on "his level" the entire time - they have a blast and he is genuinely excited for his "friend" to come over and play. 10/10 recommend! I am delighted to recommend Danielle as a reliable, responsible, warm and dedicated caregiver! I connected with Danielle through Urban Sitter and she was super responsive / warm / organized in our initial correspondence - I then spoke with a mom in Poland who Danielle had worked for in the past who spent 30 minutes on the phone with me and could not recommend Danielle highly enough (she had cared for 3 of her sons) - we met Danielle in person last Friday and spent a few hours watching our 1.5 year old and he had the BEST time. Danielle was super calm, loving, play-oriented and very responsive to all of our directions / instructions. She took him out for a walk, prepared his dinner, and gave him lots of attention / love / play - he was in GREAT spirits when we came home. We have decided to hire Danielle on a recurring basis to watch our toddler at least 1-2 times per week. I definitely recommend hiring Danielle and we can't wait to work with her again (and feel so lucky to have found her!).”

$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 6 families in Flushing, NY

I'm Camila, new to NYC and looking for babysitter opportunities! I'm a caring and experienced babysitter with a strong background working with children of all ages. I've been babysitting for years, including supporting a child with special needs, and I'm comfortable adapting to different needs and personalities. I've also worked as a Spanish teacher for kids, which I love incorporating into fun, engaging activities, and have experience in a daycare setting managing multiple children at once. I love working with children even in my professional career, where I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with child actors, producing, directing, and helping them train their performance. This has strengthened my ability to guide kids with patience, creativity, and structure. I can care for dogs/cats and light housekeeping and organizational tasks and errands. I'm patient, reliable, and truly enjoy creating a safe, positive environment where kids can learn and have fun.

Dominion 1 review
$30 per hour for 1 child

Hi, I’m Dominion, and I’m a biology graduate from the college of mount Saint Vincent, NY. I used to work as a microbiologist and now preparing for my masters program. I offer reliable child care, and household services. I have a passion for babysitting and have been caring for children—from newborns to preteens, including all my little cousins during summer vacations. My experience includes school pickups, engaging activities like crafts, tutoring, and even managing dance lessons. In addition to babysitting, I could provide household support, including cleaning, and running errands. I have experience caring for my grandparents, so I'm comfortable with senior care, whether it’s preparing meals, or helping with daily tasks. My hobbies include listening to music, YouTube, shopping, working in a laboratory and reading leisurely. Looking forward to meeting you!

“When my mother-in-law was unexpectedly unavailable, I reached out to Dominion and she saved the day! She arrived on time and instantly connected with my 6-month-old, which is no easy feat considering that I work from home and my daughter is super attached to me. I was instantly comforted by my daughter's smile when Dominion reached for her and by Dominion's innate ability to soothe her when she did get a bit fussy later in the day. She understood my daughter's cues, and we had a chance to laugh about them together after I had finished a few meetings. She also treated my home with great respect and showed a genuine interest in getting to know my family. I know I will continuously reach out to her when needed. Thank you, Dominion!”
